Beginner’s Guide to Breeze AI

While there are countless new features announced at this year’s Inbound, none got the spotlight quite like the introduction of HubSpot’s new suite of AI tools called Breeze AI. As the name implies, Breeze AI was created to empower customer-facing teams with easy-to-use AI tools that are fully integrated with their HubSpot data. With HubSpot’s latest innovations in AI, Breeze, is poised to transform how teams leverage HubSpot to do everything from building reports, content creation, and conduct sales outreach.

Whether you’re new to using AI tools or simply want the rundown on what these tools have to offer, this beginner’s guide will show you how Breeze AI can help streamline your processes and empower your team work more efficiently.

What is Breeze AI?

Breeze AI was designed to help marketing, sales, and customer service teams streamline tasks, work more efficiently and improve decision-making. Whether you're focusing on content creation, nurturing leads, or customer engagement, Breeze AI integrates seamlessly with HubSpot to help you get more done with fewer resources. At its core, Breeze AI includes three major components:

  • Breeze Copilot: An intelligent assistant that helps automate and streamline daily tasks, from summarizing CRM records to building reports.

  • Breeze Agents: Specialized agents that focus on different business operations such as marketing content creation, sales prospecting, and customer service.

  • Breeze Intelligence: Enriches your CRM data through an AI-driven dataset consisting of over 200 million buyer and company profiles.

Together, these tools provide a comprehensive AI solution that will enhance the existing HubSpot experience across all hubs and help teams work smarter, not harder.

Breeze Co-Pilot (formerly known as ChatSpot)

Before we dive deeper into Breeze Copilot, it’s worth revisiting ChatSpot, HubSpot’s earlier AI tool. ChatSpot introduced a conversational AI that allowed users to interact with HubSpot data in real time. It could answer questions about your CRM, generate reports, and even assist in content creation through simple chat commands. However, as helpful as ChatSpot was, it had its limitations.

Previously introduced as ChatSpot, Breeze Copilot is a conversational AI that allows users to tap into their HubSpot data to generate meaningful insights and automate simple tasks. Think of it as having your own personalized version of ChatGPT that is powered by all of the data in your HubSpot instance. While ChatSpot provided real-time assistance with CRM queries, Breeze Copilot adds many extra layers of functionality with many more types of prompts, helping you build reports, generate content, automate tasks, and analyze CRM data to provide actionable insights.

  • Data Analysis: Need insights from your CRM data? Breeze Copilot can generate summaries of existing records, create lists or records fitting specified criteria or even research companies that are not currently in your CRM.

  • Content Development: Breeze Copilot can assist with drafting short form content including blog posts, marketing emails, and social media content based on specified parameters. Along with text content, Copilot can also generate images from text prompts.

  • Task Automation: Automate simple tasks like creating new CRM records, generating reports, prepping meeting agendas, and creating workflows. Copilot is here to help remove some of the heavy lifting out of admin work.

Breeze Copilot use cases

To get you started with Breeze Copilot, simply click on the Copilot icon in your HubSpot navigation. To get an idea of what Copilot can do, choose one of the suggested prompts or click “All Prompts”. Here are a few useful prompts to try to integrate into your workflow:

  • Generate: Generate blog ideas, generate a meta description, generate a report, translate text, draft an initial outreach email, generate a blog post, generate a subject line.
  • Summarize: Summarize article, summarize deal, summarize company, summarize contact.
  • Research: Research company, discover companies, assign a contact to yourself, find unowned deals, research competitors, update contact, find contacts with property, find deals closing soon, review notes in HubSpot, show engagements with company.
  • Reporting: Compare deals over time, count contacts added, count deals added.
  • Add an Object: Add company, add contact, add ticket, add deal, add task.
  • HubSpot How-to: Ask about using HubSpot, Learn with Knowledge Base.
  • Prepare: Prepare for meeting with company, prepare for meeting with contact.

Breeze agents

Breeze Agents are specialized AI-powered experts designed to automate workflows within your marketing, sales, and customer service departments. These agents are divided into four main categories: Content Agents, Social Agents, Prospecting Agents, and Customer Agents. By leveraging these agents, you can help your team complete work faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Content Agent

While content is one of the most important parts of any modern marketing strategy, planning and developing it is incredibly time-consuming. Hubspot’s Content Agent helps relieve some of the workload involved with planning, writing, and deploying content that resonates with your audience.

Using HubSpot’s new brand voice feature, you can provide details on the personality and tone of your brand’s content. Breeze’s Content Agent can then assist you in developing content such as blogs, case studies, podcasts, and landing pages based on the parameters you give it. If you are not sure what the topic of your content should be, Breeze can come up with topic suggestions based on what it knows about your business. Once you’ve decided on a topic, HubSpot has easy-to-use wizards for creating different types of content that eliminate the need for typing out long-form text prompts.

While it is never recommended to publish AI-generated content without reviewing it for content accuracy, Breeze Content Agent can allow your marketing team to develop content at scale far more quickly than it could by writing it by hand.

Social Agent

Managing an ongoing social media strategy and creating content that will connect with your followers can be a challenge, especially when creating posts across multiple different platforms. Breeze’s Social Agent helps to remove some of the heavy lifting involved with developing a multi-channel content strategy.

The Breeze Social Agent can help you develop social posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X that will align with your brand voice and audience. Based on industry trends and best practices, Breeze can suggest new campaigns that are likely to gain maximum engagement. After drafting new posts, Breeze can even help suggest the best times to schedule each of your posts to get the best performance.

Prospecting Agent

Did you know that 50% of sales time is spent on unproductive prospecting? Prospecting top-of-funnel leads can be a time-consuming endeavor for your sales team that does not always lead to closed revenue. Breeze’s Prospecting Agent was created to automate the tedious part of sales prospecting so your sales reps can spend their time and energy on leads that will actually turn into customers.

Breeze can help your sales team automatically research which companies in your CRM fit your ideal customer profile and help identify which contacts meet your target personas based on buyer behavior, interaction history, and best-fit criteria. Prospecting agents can also initiate outreach by drafting personalized emails, creating follow-up sequences, or fully automating outreach, making it easier to engage leads in real-time. Breeze Prospecting Agent opens up your sales rep’s capacity so they can focus on working leads that are most likely to close.

Customer Agent

Managing high numbers of customer support requests can be difficult, especially when teams are short-staffed. The Breeze Customer Agent can handle simple customer inquiries so that your support reps can focus on more complex tickets.

Breeze’s Customer Agent uses conversation intelligence to analyze customer issues and determine the best course of action based on the specific support content it is provided. This ensures that chat answers are accurate while removing limited chat decision trees that can frustrate customers looking for specific answers. You can also set parameters for when a request is forwarded to a real person for more complex situations. For service teams, this means quicker resolution times and less manual intervention in ticket routing and follow-ups.

Breeze Intelligence

In this fast-paced business landscape, the decisions you make are only as good as the data that you have at your disposal. Manually keeping your CRM up-to-date is a near-impossible task that often leads to contact and company records becoming out of date and your marketing and sales records falling behind. Breeze Intelligence can help you keep your CRM data up to date, fill in additional details, monitor buyer intent data, and collect even more information when users convert.

Data Enrichment

With Breeze Intelligence, you can enrich your CRM data with external insights—automatically filling in gaps about your leads and customers. The Breeze Intelligence dataset gives you access to 200 million+ profiles that can add 40+ additional attributes to any company or contact record within your database. This enriched data provides more context for both your marketing campaigns and sales outreach, allowing for additional segmentation opportunities that were not previously possible.

Buyer Intent

Finding which companies are the best fit for your product or service at the right time can be a challenge. Breeze Intelligence’s buyer intent functionality helps to take out the guesswork and will help highlight companies that fit your ideal customer profile while also indicating intent by visiting your website. Breeze will highlight companies already in your CRM as well as those who are not. Any companies not currently in your database can be easily added through Breeze data enrichment.

Form Shortening

The final component of Breeze Intelligence is its form shortening functionality. After a user fills in their email, Breeze will automatically populate form fields with existing data, reducing friction for potential leads and increasing conversion rates. Form shortening takes dynamic forms to the next level, ensuring that you are collecting the most relevant data possible while decreasing page bounce rates.

Since Breeze Intelligence requires data pulls from external data sources, Breeze Intelligence credits are required when using these new features. While this is an additional cost on top of your current HubSpot subscription, this allows you to get more value out of your existing tools by improving the quality of the data within your database.

The future of HubSpot AI

Toward the end of HubSpot’s Inbound ‘24 presentation, co-founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah came on stage to share his vision for the future of HubSpot AI. While HubSpot is making a big push with Breeze Agents, Dharmesh envisions a future where our teams are hybrids of both real people and AI agents. This is when he introduced Agent.ai, the first professional network for AI Agents.

Similar to the existing agents within Breeze AI, these agents were designed to automate specific tasks to help you work more efficiently. A few examples of agents that have been recently added to the newly launched Agent.ai marketplace are agents for Website Conversion Rate Optimization recommendations, conducting company research, analyzing competitors, and even generating memes.

During his presentation, Dharmesh explained that Agent.ai will offer functionality for users to create new agents while using existing agents as a starting point. There will also be a unique Agent Builder where you can create brand-new agents. The Agent Builder will be equipped with an AUI (Agent User Interface) that will allow agents to interface with each other and work together. Agent.ai offers endless possibilities that offer the potential to revolutionize how we work, both with technology and with one another.

With so much potential for streamlining workflows across your entire organization, Breeze AI offers plenty for AI beginners and veterans alike. Breeze Copilot, Breeze Agents, and Breeze Intelligence are all in beta for users of HubSpot Smart CRM, Marketing Hub, Content Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub.
